What is Tier Jumping?
Tier Jumping is a strategy used by many Atlas Earth players to maximize earnings. Instead of buying parcels as soon as you earn enough Atlas Bucks, players save their AB until they can purchase enough parcels to reach the next boost tier all at once. This allows players to spend less time earning with a reduced boost multiplier.
Why Do Players Tier Jump?
- Maximize boost earnings.
- Reduce time spent in lower boost tiers.
- Increase long-term rent efficiency.
- Plan Atlas Buck spending more effectively.
- Prepare for future parcel purchases.
Current Atlas Earth Boost Tiers
| Parcel Count | Boost |
|---|---|
| 1 - 150 | 30x |
| 151 - 220 | 20x |
| 221 - 290 | 15x |
| 291 - 365 | 12x |
| 366 - 435 | 10x |
| 436 - 545 | 8x |
| 546 - 625 | 7x |
| 626 - 730 | 6x |
| 731 - 875 | 5x |
| 876 - 1100 | 4x |
| 1101 - 1500 | 3x |
| 1501+ | 2x |
Example
Suppose you currently own 150 parcels. Buying just one more parcel immediately reduces your boost from 30x to 20x. Instead, many players save enough Atlas Bucks to purchase all the parcels needed to reach the next tier before buying, reducing the amount of time spent earning at the lower multiplier while slowly adding parcels.
Advantages
- Stay at the higher boost multiplier longer.
- Spend Atlas Bucks more strategically.
- Better long-term earnings.
- Easier planning for large parcel purchases.
Disadvantages
- Your parcel count grows more slowly while saving.
- Requires patience and planning.
- Not every player will prefer this strategy.
